Savatthi was the occasion....
Then a certain monk....said to the Exalted One:

'"The restraint of lust, the restraint of hatred, the restraint of illusion,"
lord, is the saying. Pray, lord, what does the restaint imply?'
'It implies, monk, the realm of Nibbana. By it is meant the destruction of the
asavas.

At these word that monk said to the Exalted One:
'"The deathless! The deathless!" lord, is the saying.
Pray, lord, what is the deathless, and what is the way to the deathless?'

'That which is the destrution of lust, the destrution of hatred, the destrution
of illusion, monk, mail protected]!](Jthat is called "deathless."

This same Ariyan eightfold way is the way to the deathless: to wit,
right view, ....and the rest ....right concentration.'

Rewrite the Exalted One to Buddha, lust to greed, hatred to anger, illusion to
foolishness, asava to greed, anger, foolishness, the Ariyan Eightfold Path to
the Eightfold Path, concentration to samadhi.

Looking for the essence of this sutta, I delete the unnecessary words.
